We’re thrilled to introduce William Lo as a new board member of Jackson CEO! Raised in Carbondale, William learned the value of hard work and strong ethics early on while working in his parents’ restaurant. With over 30 years in the industry, he brings extensive knowledge and hands-on experience to the board.
A few years back, William and his wife, Keesha LaDawn Lo, launched the Southern Illinois Eats Facebook page, creating a community space to highlight local restaurants and connect with area businesses. Their passion for supporting local cuisine has only grown since.
Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce, General Manager of New Kahala, and President of the Southern Illinois Collaborative Kitchen—a nonprofit tackling food insecurity—William is a remarkable advocate for our community. When he’s not working, he and Keesha share their travels across the country through their food and entertainment blog.
Welcome, William! We’re excited to have your expertise and passion on board as we work to inspire young entrepreneurs in Jackson County!
